Marvel Expanding Avengers to Include Hanna Barbera Heroes

BURBANK – The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to expand. In recent years, the comic-based franchise has rolled out stand-alone films starring our some favorite superheroes like Thor, Hulk, and Iron Man. The movies have performed so well, they have now run the gamut to include even the most obscure characters like Mantis, Vision, and Bucky.

There has been much speculation about how the popular franchise will follow up its immensely popular Avengers: Infinity War film. Having exhausted the entirety of its characters in Infinity War, sources say Marvel CEO Isaac Perlmutter is working on a brainchild with a surprising partner:

It turns out Hanna Barbera may be the answer to defeating Thanos.

The two companies are reported to be in negotiations for Marvel to obtain the rights to several of Hanna Barbera strongest heroes.

The Hanna Barbera name carries with it a long list of super-characters for the Avengers to pull from. Among those specifically mentioned as possibilities, were Space Ghost, Blue Falcon, Birdman, and Thundarr.

If the scriptwriters play it right, we may even see lesser-known characters like Shazzan, Mightor, Hong-Kong Fooey, and Captain Caveman.
