Women convinced other husbands in Church love their wives more
If my husband really loved me, he’d give me a deep tissue neck massage like the guy sitting three pews in front of us is giving to his wife.
Or maybe he would play with my hair as I rested my head on his shoulder, like the couple sitting across the aisle from us.
Instead he’s just sitting there, listening attentively to the sermon and following along in his Bible.
I mean, every now and then, my husband will put his arm around me during church.
And if I’m really lucky, he’ll give my shoulder a little squeeze.
But most of the time, he’s just so focused on praising Jesus and learning from God’s Word, that he’s probably not even thinking that I might need a massage or a long, soft back-scratching.
Don’t get me wrong. My husband does SOME good stuff. Like, he teaches children’s Bible class with me and takes our baby out when he needs a diaper change.
But, like, how am I, or more importantly, other couples, supposed to know that he loves me if he’s not constantly touching me during the service?
