Ralph Northam apologises for voting Republican at school
Virginia Democrat Governor Ralph Northam issued an apology on Friday for voting Republican. A photo of him wearing blackface and a MAGA cap from the 1984 Eastern Virginia Medical School yearbook.
“That photo and the racist and offensive attitudes that MAGA cap represents does not reflect the party I vote for today or the way that I have conducted myself as a pro-abortion public servant. I am deeply sorry. I cannot change the decisions I made, nor can I undo the harm my behavior caused then and today to my political career.”
CNN was the first to make the connection between the racist image and the Republican party and broadcast the segment of the story about Ralph Northam being a racist with the republican affiliation of his youth on the bar below.
A spokesman for the Virginia Democratic Party added, “The Democrats have nothing to do with the cruel oppression of blacks by groups such as the KKK. We are a progressive party and believe in Margaret Sanger’s humane approach – which is to build abortion clinics in the black communities and tell them it’s a black woman’s right to use such services to advance themselves.”
The Democratic Party is in a dilemma as Ralph Northam is a supporter of abortions up to the point of birth introduced in HB2491, the Repeal Bill, by Democratic Virginia Delegate Kathy Tran.
When asked what is likely to happen to the governor the spokesman replied, “I can tell you exactly what would happen. The governor would be kept comfortable. The governor’s political career would be resuscitated if that’s what the party and the voters desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the party.”
