Uber launches “pray for you” service app

Inspired by the persistent widow but just too busy to pray?

Want that breakthrough but can’t face being on your knees until it happens?

Do you say that you’ll pray for someone but always forget?

Don’t have enough faith to see mountains move?

Well worry no more!

Uber has introduced a new “Pray for You” app that connects your prayer needs with a professional prayer.

Just enter in your prayer request, enter whether it’s a one-off or a repeated prayer and your credit card details and Uber will get someone on their knees for your prayer request within 15 minutes of your request.

For repeated prayer you can choose the time span or stick with the default option: “until there’s breakthrough”.

Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO of Uber commented, “Modern Christians are big on promises but low on action so it was only a matter of time before someone thought of pay-to-pray: contracting out all those prayers to those who were willing to put the effort in.  It’s a win-win situation – more prayer is happening like never before and those who are on their knees now receive an earthly as well as a heavenly reward for their devotion.”

Users of the “Pray for You” app can then leave ratings for the the person praying based on the answer to prayer and the time it took.
