Joe Biden declares he’s only 10 to 15% Calvinist

News

Former Vice President Joe Biden told supporters during a virtual town hall on Thursday that he was only 10 to 15% Calvinist as he believes only 10 to 15% of Americans “are just not very good people”.

The comment was made at an event moderated by actor Don Cheadle, drew the ire of reformed Christians:

“15% doesn’t even equate to being even a one point Calvinist!” lamented Bob, “Paul didn’t say in Romans 3:23 that only 10 to 15% of people have sinned and fall short of the glory of God!”

“Suggesting that Jesus only died for 10 to 15% of people is offensive,” declared an irate bearded Calvinist, “it’s like saying wine is 85% water and so Jesus turning water into wine was only a 15% miracle!”

Comparisons have been drawn to comments made by 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton who was “at least 25% sure of depravity” when she declared that half of Trump’s supporters were in a “basket of deplorables”.

Jim, another bearded Calvinist, mused, “I mean if Joe Biden only grew a beard that would probably count for at least one of the 5 points of Calvinism….”
