Pastors Bless Planned Parenthood for Supporting Psalm 137

Abortion-blessing

Columbus, Ohio: The Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice is planning a blessing of the Planned Parenthood abortion center on the evening of November 9.

The event is called Holy Ground: Blessing the Sacred Space of Decision and is in recognition of the work planned parenthood does in fulfilling Psalm 137:9

Blessed shall he be who takes your little ones and dashes them against the rocks!

A spokesperson for the coalition said, “The modern church has unhitched itself from the Old Testament.  They limit blessings to the beatitudes and so miss out on all that is available for those who dash infants against rocks.  We hope this evening will restore this most ancient and holy practice.”

Local worship leader Cindy Lot has composed a song especially for this occasion, “I am honored to be able to ensure that all of this worshipful Psalm is sung.  Too many bands, such as Boney M, just talk about the Rivers of Babylon and miss out the catchy later verses.”

The coalition is also planning to release a Prayer of Jabez style book to help people to receive more of this blessing in their lives.
